Vehicle Description
For sale is a nice 1970 Scorpion mark IV. All of the black has been painted,base coat and clear coat. The hood has been clear coated.There are a couple of cracks as shown in the pictures. The 23 inch wide track is in excellent condition as are all of the bogie wheels. The seat bottom is very nice with no tears or cracks, the back is very good with a couple small cracks at the top. These have been repaired with vinyl repair.
The Sachs engine seems to be a little rough (bearing maybe),although I have put many miles on it with no problems at all. The carb has had a kit installed and the gas tank has been flushed out. There is no rust on the sled anywhere including the gas tank.The clutches have been cleaned and the brake has been cleaned up and adjusted. The clutch engages smooth and runs out very good.
The front bumper has some damage but is very presentable as is. The rear bumper is pretty nice condition. A new windshield has been installed. The lights and ignition switch work fine.The skis are in excellent condition. Mileage is unknown.
Overall, this sled is in great condition. It is not a show sled but is a good example of the big work horse Scorpion. There is no title for this sled, only a bill of sale. Thanks for your interest. Please call if you have any questions 406-579-3009.
I can keep the sled for a reasonable amount of time as long as it is paid for within 7 days. As always ,the sled will be kept inside until buyer can pick it up. The sled could possibly hitch a ride to Wiconia for a small fee. I realize it is not realistic to pay to much for shipping on an item such as this. Please pay a 50.00 deposit through pay pal within 48 hours of end of auction.
