1971 POLARIS VINTAGE MUSTANG SNOWMOBILE 80 PICTURES
I have had this snowmobile for a while. I got it the way you see it in the pictures. I beleive this sled is a 1971 Polaris Mustang with a 377 fuji engine. The front steering went on it, beleive it needs to be welded back together and the motor bolted back into place. I am sure this is worth something to someone. If you have the same sled or looking for a project sled or for parts, than you have found it. I have not seen that many of these sleds around.
I do not see any serious damage on the snowmobile. It is old and it shows wear and tare. I have the front bumper for it, the seat is red in color, gas tank is in the back, the snowmobile was sitting on a wooden pallet, it might be the origional track on it. The motor was stored inside when it was taken off to try to fix the steering. I was told the motor is good, how true that is I do not know, I have never heard the snowmobile run. The belt looks to be the newest part on the snowmobile. The exhaust is all there and the hood looks to be in good shape considering how old the snowmobile is. The skis look to be good, there is rust on the snowmobile, it is not made of plastic, it is a 1971 and DOES HAVE RUST.
It needs some good tlc or use it for parts. I am selling it as a very old snowmobile that does not run, may never run again. Being sold as is in non running condition. This is a no reserve auction, starting bid is just to cover the ebay fees that ebay charges me. I just want it gone from my yard, so if only one person bids than you got yourself a snowmobile.

I HAD TO RELIST THIS SNOWMOBILE BECAUSE THE PERSON WHO WON THE SNOWMOBILE PICKED IT UP TOOK IT HOME AND SAID IT WAS NOT WHAT WAS DESCRIBED IN THE AUCTION. I HAD TO GO AND PICK IT UP AT HIS HOUSE AND GIVE HIM A FULL REFUND ON THE SNOWMOBILE.
HE NEVER MADE AN ATTEMPT TO COME AND LOOK AT IT, OR CALL ME ABOUT IT, OR ASK ANY QUESTIONS ON IT. EVEN WHEN HE PICKED IT UP I HAD SHOWED HIM WHERE THE STEERING WENT ON THE SNOWMOBILE HE NEVER LOOKED IT OVER WHEN HE PICKED IT UP. HE GOT HOME AND SENT ME AN E-MAIL, DID NOT CALL ME, SAID HE WANTED A FULL REFUND AND I HAD TO PICK THE SNOWMOBILE UP AT HIS HOUSE. I TOOK OVER 80 PICTURES SO I COULD OR I THOUGHT AVOID SUCH A PROBLEM.
THE SNOWMOBILE IS WHAT IT IS OLD AND HAS BEEN SITTING. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT SOMEONE EXPECTS. IT SOLD UNDER EBAY MOTORS FOR 126.00
I TOOK MANY PICTURES AND IF I DID NOT TAKE ANY PICTURES OF IT AND I SAID THE SNOWMOBILE WAS "LIKE BRAND NEW" I COULD SEE AN ISSUE. IF YOU DO NOT MAKE AN ATTEMPT TO LOOK AT IT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO SAY. SELLING IT AS IS AS USED NON RUNNING OLD SNOWMOBILE FOR PARTS OR RESTORE.
SNOWMOBILE IS OLD AND USED NON RUNNING STARTING BID IS .01 IF YOU THINK YOU ARE GETTING A BRAND NEW SNOWMOBILE THAT HAS NO PROBLEMS THAN DO NOT BID. I DO NOT NEED THE HEADACHES THAT THIS OTHER PERSON HAS CAUSED ME, LOOK AT MY FEEDBACK I DO MY BEST TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS AND TAKE THE MOST PICTURES THAT I CAN. A: I do not know. It might be. I do not have the snowmobile at my house yet, I plan to get it soon I will measure it and let you and everyone know how wide the track is. Roy

A: I do not think it is a rare sled. I beleive it is a 1971 mustang. I thought the motor is a 371 maybe it is a 377 I do not have the snowmobile at my house yet. When I pick it up I will post some pictures of the motor. I beleive it is the origional motor that it came with in 1971, whatever that motor was it probably is the one in it. A: I would like cash. I would take paypal but they charge me fees and if it only sells for 126.00 and paypal charges the fees it is just not worth it for me unless the bidding goes above 200.00 I am not sure if there are any pictures of the motor.
