Vehicle Description
This Vespa Sprint has 4750 miles showing and has a decent body with no rot but does have a dent where the tail light mounts on the rear of the frame. Definitely fixable but will require some work to make it straight. The Cowls and legshield are reasonably straight. The engine will run but it needs new seals and the electrics need to be sorted (replaced would be better). Who ever decided to remove the blinkers did a half-assed job of it and is probably the same party responsible for drilling a small hole in the legshield to run a wire to the horn. There is a bench seat on the scooter but there is also a pillion seat tray still installed so the scooter probably had a solo seat on it at one time. It has brand new tires/ tubes installed. The scooter would make a very good restoration since it is all there and parts are readily available for the Sprint model. A new (non-battery or signal type) wiring harness should be used and the engine should be rebuilt to provide fresh seals and bearings. This scooter will be sold with a Bill of Sale only since it is too old to be title in the State of CT.
