1981 Honda 250R
Vehicle Description
This is a 1981 Honda 250R 2-stroke. 5 speed, clutch. It has full suspension, kick start, and has been completely restored about three years ago. It has been sittin in my garage since then with only a couple hours of use. I rebuilt the top-end three months ago and have only ridden it about a half hour since then. I used wiseco piston kit, and cometic gasket set. The parts that have been replaced are, Moose racing handle bars, renthal grips, both levers, brake and clutch cables, Honda bar pad, Ceet seat cover, custom made steel seat pan, number plate, DG silencer pipe, Sprocket Specialties rear sprocket, Sunstar front sprocket, all fuel lines, Boyesen power reeds and gaskets, converted to Uni 300EX air-filter, front and rear brake pads/shoes, front wheel bearings, rear axle and swing-arm bearings/seals, etc. I have all photos. The tires a re just ohotsu knobbies and have about 3/4 tread left, Rims are originals but have been painted inside and out. There was not one speck of paint left on this thing before i painted it. IT runs perfect!!! and is very fast. Can beat a Z-400 up to 55MPH. There are a few chips and scratches from the little use and being moved around but is still very nice. I hate to sell it but I've had it since 2002 and my uncle owned it for 6 years prior but I have a baby and never ride it. Not a very good excuse but it hurts to see it just sit there. IT's a blast to ride and worth every penny.
I will travel up to 200 miles for delivery if prepaid otherwise local pick-up will be in Big Lake MN
