Vehicle Description
Hello and Thanks for looking at this Auction. Up for Auction is a 1980 Chrysler Sno Runner (High Performance Model). This Machine is 100% operational, and ready to use for the winter. I received the snorunner about five years ago and proceeded to rebuild the machine from the ground up. I completely restored the snorunner, stripping it completely down and cleaning each part and replacing any old or worn parts that needed to be replaced. The body has been sanded and repainted along with all of the rest of the parts, the engine and carbs were rebuilt and a few upgrades were added.
I replaced the old parts and the original stock parts to match and/or exceed the high performance model.
These upgrades include:
a new thinner head gasket
a new high compression exhaust
a complete rebuild of the carburator
a new clutch with performance gears,
new chain
skid plate mounted down by the track.
The other parts that were replaced were the front ski and track. The seat was homemade to look similiar to the original. Everything on the snorunner works including the lights, on/off switch, and it starts with one or two pulls.
The Snorunner has been stored in the basement of my home for about 4 years. I have taken it out and used it roughly 3 times since completing the upgrades. There are a few minor scratches which will be fixed by the time it is sold, the headlight is the only part with minor scratches that will not be replaced. The snorunner is made to be disassembled and placed into the trunk of a car.. I also have an extra ski along with a few other parts that will be included in the sale of the snorunner.
There is a website i have included which is www.snorunner.com and it contains some history and a few models and a parts list of how much everything costs that i have put into this machine.
I am selling this item for local pickup only due to if I were to ship it, it would cost a fortune due to the size of the machine. The Snorunner will be picked up in the city of Warren, MI with a zip code of 48089. It must be picked up within 14 days of Auction with a Deposit of $50.00 via Paypal.
