Vehicle Description
Up for auction is a 1996 Formula 3 600 that I have owned since 2000. I have ridden this sled occasionally since I bought it but never used it as my main sled always as a spare I purchased the machine from the original owner who took good care of it. Three years ago I thought about racing this machine so I sent the motor to Hannon Performance and had the head shaved and the cylinders ported they also modified the crank bearings to provide better lubrication. We had wiseco pistons installed put on some jaws race pipes put in 192 studs and removed the air box. After some carb tuning we had it really moving for being pretty much stock. While at the first race my wife raced my trail sled and wrecked so I never did get a chance to race it and have run out of time and interest to try it again. I kept all of the stock parts and will through in a new hood and gauge cluster to as the hood got scuffed up when I put the sled on its side once. Over all this is a pretty nice sled it does have a couple small tears in the seat and the scuffs in the hood as well as a few scratches in the bumper. The track is in very good shape as are the studs the skis are ultra light skis with good wear rods. This sled runs great and is very fast yet reliable would make a great lake racer or trail sled. I have been honest and true about the description and will answer all questions but please remember this is a used sled and will have imperfections. Good luck and ask any question you may have.
