1998 Tigershark 770/ Arctic Cat, Yamaha, Honda, Sea Doo Vehicle Description This is a 1998 Tigershark 770 thats in pretty good shape, THE ENGINE IS BLOWN IN THIS SKI!!! I bought this a few weeks ago with the intentions of fixing and using for the rest of the summer, but once I tore the engine down I found that its going to take a little more money than I was hoping. Money I need to put towards school this year and not another toy. I have the complete engine which is all tore down except for the cases being split. In order to get it running again it needs new cases, there is a half dollar sized hole in the bottom of the case. The crank needs to be rebuilt, rods and bearings. The cylinders you could probably get away with, there are some scratches that will hook your finger nail, so in order to do it all correctly the cylinders should probably be bored. Needs new pistons and one dome on the head is pitted from case pieces flying around inside, but could still be used if the pitting was smoothed down slightly to prevent hot spots. It also probably needs new reed petals because one side is chipped up from crank pieces. The scratches in the hull look worse than what they are, they hardly catch my finger nail. There is a spot on the rear of the ski that cracked and was fixed with silicone and screwing the trim back on. otherwise this thing is pretty clean, I just put a new seat cover on, it was included with the deal. It also comes with a cover and the trailer which is only a year old. the trailer is mint other than having a crack in one of the plastic fenders. As far as I know everything works on this ski (or so I was told) but can't be positive because I've never run it.
