Vehicle Description
Up for auction is a 2001 Polaris Classic 700. The Classics come standard with electric start, reverse, mirrors, and electric fuel gauge. This sled is in the Gen II chassis (not the Edge) and also has a heated visor plug, 12 volt receptacle, and an OEM electric shock. There are 3945 miles and the sled runs great. Everything seems to work fine, but the battery will need to be replaced as it is having a hard time maintaining a charge.
The overall condition of the sled is pretty good. The only flaw is in the hood where there is a piece about 1"x2" that is missing. I can't explain what happened and it is hard to notice unless you walk around the sled a few times. I took a picture of the area so you can see what I am talking about. Otherwise, the sled is in good shape and with a good cleaning it will really stand out.
I sold a twin to this sled two weeks ago for $2600 that had right at 3k for the miles. I will entertain offers and will have this sled for sale on a local basis so you can reach me at 260 668 6209.
