hello,
I just purchased this Gio on Ebay from the same person that sells several of them on Ebay and is associated with www.giovannibikes.com.
I received the ATV August 19th. After initial inspection, I received a defected tire and a flat tire. The seller on ebay was no help at all and wanted was more money to rectify the problem
I went to Canadian tire and got work done on the tires. So all is good.
The break in period is very simple. Saturday August 23, we started the break in of the engine. Sunday morning came and was attempted to start break in again.
Then the ATV started on fire. Ran to get the garden hose to put it out. All hoses melted, electric starter burnt. Will be in contact with Customs Canada about these ATV's by Giovanni but until then, if you are interested in buying this one, put a bid down. Why purchase one from someone else, I have the already burnt one available. I went through the fear and shock of a fire in the garage. Your children riding on one of these will not have the issue of potential fire as it has already happened.
A trained mechanic went over this ATV and stated, they are a serious fire hazzard as then use poor quality gas lines among other issues with the ATV.
Buyer beware, Gio ATV's are pretty junky
