This auction is for a custom designed and stiched, Pro Go-kart racing suit and helmet and shoes. The protective suit is made of kevlar and other skid burn resistent material and padded in al the right places. it was custome designed and made by Design 500 at a cost in excess of $1000 and used in only 2 races. It shows very little signs of wear and should fit anyone about 5'5" to 5'9" with little or no tayloring.
The helmet is a Bell and has a $300 matching paint job.
the shoes are size 10.5 Simpson Racing and are thown in the deal along with the matching horse color for the helmet. The matching Go-kart and motor below are also available and would MAKE AN AWESOME PRESENT UNDER THE TREE.
aLSO AVAILABLE IS A - 125cc Italian Comer racing Go-kart 2 stroke engine. It was completly broken down and macj=hine blue printed by D.T. Racing and was used to win several 1st place races and 2nd in the 1994 Maryland Championship. The motor was recently started up and ran by Full Tilt Racing at Englishtown, NJ for several check-out laps on the track.
The italian DAP chassis is being sold seperatly. You can set this cart up to go very fast or have a slow high speed but accelerate fast depending on the size sprocket that you pick and extra sprockets come with it.
I used this cart back in the mid 93 to 94 to win many races including 2nd in the Maryland Championship. I held it for my son to grow up. Unfortunatly for me he did not do more thsn ride it around the neighborhood for fun but judt 2 weeks ago I had the whole Kart gone over, serviced and tested on the Englishtown track by Full Tilt Racing. It also has a custom $300 seat and a brand new set of racing tires with only the 2 test laps on them if you are also interested in the Kart chassis sold under a seperate auction.
It has a $1000 paint job but some minor scraps and scratches from competition. I am selling the matching race suit and helmit and engine in seperate auctions.
