In 1997, Kawasaki Decided they wanted to build a Very Fast Bad-to the-Bone Jet Ski.
What did they do?
They took the Highest output motor, the ZXI 1100 which is a Two Stroke, Three Cylinder, Three Carburetor, Their biggest Engine, and put it into the smallest hull. What you are about to bid on is a quick revving, high-output Fast and Fun Watercraft.
I originally bought this Jet Ski from a friend who hardly used it after starting a family and having lots of babies around. Yeah, it sat in the garage for quite some time before I bought it in 2005.
Here’s the History: Since I have owned the bike, I have put a new Voltage Regulator and New Battery in it. I have flat-boarded the hull, repaired a few gouges in the fiberglass with Marine-Tex Epoxy, Primed the Hull with Awlgrip Marine Epoxy Primer, and Pained the Hull with Awlgrip Marine Epoxy Paint. What’s that worth to have done? About $1000.00.
Last Spring, I had the Three Carburetors removed and rebuilt by a Kawasaki Authorized Technician with all original Kawasaki rebuild kits. Did this make a difference in how much better it runs… Oh Yeah!
What did that cost me? About $500.00.
Okay, this last Spring of 08, I replaced the stock, standard impellor with a High Output Solas Stainless Steel Prop. It didn’t fit in the Impellor housing because the impellor housing was slightly warped. I had the Impellor Housing, the main shaft, the bearings and the seals replaced with Genuine Kawasaki Original Factory Parts and “trued in” at Motor Sports Connection of Fort Lauderdale. These Guys are the best you will ever find. What was the cost of parts and labor for that? About $750.00.
Okay, I hope you have a keen ear for common sense. A large number of
"Great Deals" or what sounds like a "Great Deal" are out there, as far as price is concerned. I have learned the hard way, that these great deals reflect a "Cheap Price" because they are stored for long periods of time with no fuel stabilizer in the gas. They do not turn the fuel valve off and run the gas oout of the fuel system before storing, or.... they do not start and run the engine once a week to keep fresh stabilized fuel in the system. I have done all the above with this unit. Those who offer a "deal" on a neglected Jet - Ski to a buyer who is unaware of what I'm telling you here, is what costs you more than what you would spend in repairs for the total price of this Advertised Jet Ski which is ready to go. Serious Buyers will be allowed to test drive the unit having met Sellers Conditions.
The fuel gage, tack and speedometer all work fine.
I have a new cover for it as well.
It has a fresh water flush kit on it, and there is nothing wrong with this Jet Ski you need to do. Take it out and have yourself a blast.
It comes with a nice trailer that has a new axle, new tires, new latch, new tongue wheel, new carpet covered runners, and a new light kit. (Trailer not pictured here)
