Vehicle Description
I have a John Deere Liquifire 440 Snowmobile for sale. I have the airbox and clutch/belt cover/shroud (not shown). This snowmobile is being sold as is. I have no use for it, as I have 2 already and I am sick of saying that I am going to restore this one, but never take the time out to do so. I started doing work on this sled a couple years ago, but since then it has sat in my garage for 2 years untouched. I pulled it over and it turns freely. It always had good compession and did run when last put away. I have put new parts on this sled, but cannot remember what they are anymore. I know there are new rubber boots on the carbs and new gas line and filters all the way around. I poured a little gas in the carbs and it did start but it runs a little ruff. It killed out after a few seconds, but it did fire up. I figure it is a carb problem. I don't know what all needs to be done to make it run like a champ, cuz I haven't worked on it at all in last 2 years. It has it wear and tear marks, couple scratches, nicks, dings, wear marks etc. If you want to know all let me know but I am just saying that this sled had been rode and it still has plenty more to give. I don't believe the milleage is correct so I just put 99999 down. I have 2 belts that will go with the sled, but i don't believe either one is the correct belt. Also that is a replacement clutch on this sled that is in excellent shape. I believe I have this registered as a 1980 but the tunnel shows 0780 which would make this a 1981. I know I have the card around here somewhere, if not I will be more than happy to give a bill of sale out. I am the registered owner so it is all good. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
