Motobecane AV88 Moped Mobylette Moby + Xtra Parts Moby
Vehicle Description
This is an old Motobecane AV88. It did run about a year ago. And by run, I mean that it started up and went up and down the block. I did not take it out for some ten mile cruise. The large starter pulley broke and I replaced it with one from another moped but it doesn't quite line up correctly and the belt ends up riding on to the edge of the pulley and not in the groove. It would need to be replaced along with the fuel valve. Don't expect to just jump on this and take off. If you spent the time on this, you would really own a classic piece of moped history. Some people say it has a nice patina, but most would say it is kinda rusty. Also, included is another AV88 that was painted black by a previous owner. What you see is what you get. I am not shipping this but I will help you in any way I can if you arrange for shipping. In other words, I will be here when someone comes to pick it up for you. Also, I want this out of my garage within two weeks of the end of the auction. The reason I'm getting rid of it is that I am done with Motobecane mopeds. I'd rather work on some different brands instead. I'll be happy to answer any questions that you might have.
