Relisting due to deadbeat bidder... For sale here is a 1974 Arctic Cat Panther Vintage snowmobile. I bought this from the original owner two years ago. A true collectors item. The sled runs good and is very fast. Just started over the weekend after sitting all summer - hit it with starting fluid and it started on the first pull! It always starts on the first or second pull. One minor issue - the sled will run great for 15 minutes or so then stop as if the choke is pulled. Starts right up again on first pull and then will stop again in a few minutes. I've been told it's a filter issue as the filter line itself looks like it has been spliced a few times. It may also need the carbs cleaned. Hood looks really good but does have typical spider cracks. Skis and track in great shape. Original emblems still on the sled. Windshield cloudy but you can still see through. Bumpers have dents as you can see in the pictures. Seat with "Panther" design in excellent shape. See pictures. Plastic rear gas assembly with working lid just replaced with NOS part – these always broke on these sleds. The speedometer does not work due to the cable missing. The speedometer shows 3,900 miles but not sure how long the cable has been gone. Overall in great shape for a 35 year old sled. Priced to sell - fall garage clean-up and need the room.
