Vintage Snowmobile Ski-doo 1965 Olympic Nice!!!
Vehicle Description
Up for auction is a really nice 1965 Ski-Doo Olympic snowmobile. This sled has been sitting its entire life and has only see snow a couple of times! The story i was told is that a man in St. Francis Maine bought this sled new in 65. He passed away that same year only riding the sled a couple of times. The sled sat in his garage covered until 1985. The second owner purchased it and stored it in his heated cellar. He pickled the sled by putting oil in the gas tank. He also had the sled painted sometime while it was in his possession
In 2000 i purchased the sled from the second owner. I drained the oil from the gas tank and added fresh gas today. It started right up! The sled runs like new. The sled also comes with its orginal seat and back that is also in like new condition. I had a repo seat made to further preserve this great sled. The sled also comes with its orginal owners manual that is like new! Any further questions please ask! There are some scratches on the hood that dont show up in the pictures.
Now for the legal stuff. After the sale I will need a deposit of 100.00 through paypal within 24 hours of auction end. This will hold the sled. I can store it as long as needed but not forever. The 100.00 will be subtracted from the remaining balance due. This must be paid within 10 days via money order or certified bank check. If not the sled will be relisted. I will allow the buyer to back out if for some reason after seeing the sled you arent happy. BUT the 100.00 will be forfeited.

Ive added a picture of the owners manual that was in the glove box. I also added pictures of the orginal seat that goes with the sled. Remember the seat is the orginal 43 year old seat!

I just noticed the brake cable isnt on the sled. The brake cable is still readly available at Central City snowmobile if i find it, it will be included. Or i can order one and have it ready for the winning bidder.
