Vehicle Description
up for bid is a vintage jawa babetta European moped made in Czechoslovakia .im not sure of year but doing research i found from 1976-79,but i saw a 1978 that looked just like this one,so im pretty sure its a 78.this moped is a good project for someone with some time to restore it has only surface rust on frame body,i was going to but i have to much on my hands as it is.the engine has excellent compression,and body in decent shape.it needs tires a tranzimo ignition coil to run.it is missing stator cover.this is a great project you dont see these around much (rare). 49cc engine is good and will run after coil is installed,i have old coil for reference parts #.(these mopeds are rare.) there is a guy on ebay with parts to this moped his user name is (dirtbiketroy101) he had parts for bid a few days ago and they did not sell so im sure he still has them,he had stator cover and other parts.as is good luck and thanx for looking. good for restore or parts,engine good.
